Make no mistake what the top’s about
Enduring sign aloft my dome,
Since a Windsor I could tie,
Colorful round my neck,
‘til noggin ‘neath comes white and hoary.
Sure ‘tis a thing my wife’ll flout,
Yet where it’s hung, there is the home,
Be assured, when I do die
Unblocked and soiled and flecked,
I’ll turn it in for a crown of glory.
