It is God's gift of eternal life through Christ that makes it possible for us to be truly thankful. Let us consider how amazing things truly are all around us yet how unhappy we tend to be and how much we complain (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r1CZTLk-Gk ). Let us then consider what our sins truly deserve. Finally, let us count the first and foremost blessing God has showered upon us in the gift of His Son and let us be truly grateful.
